Eligibility Criteria:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and Managing Beef Cattle Production:
    • Coordinate day-to-day activities on the farm, including feeding schedules, health monitoring, and pasture management, to ensure the health and well-being of the cattle herd.
  • Livestock Breeding and Raising:
    • Implement breeding programs to improve genetics and enhance meat quality, while overseeing the care and management of calves and young stock.
  • Sales and Purchase of Cattle:
    • Facilitate the buying and selling of cattle, negotiating prices and contracts with buyers and suppliers to maximize profitability.
  • Soil and Water Management:
    • Implement sustainable farming practices to preserve natural resources, including soil conservation and water efficiency measures.
  • Budgeting and Business Management:
    • Develop and manage budgets for the cattle operation, tracking expenses and revenues to ensure financial viability, while also contributing to overall business planning and strategy.

Focus Area:

This position will primarily focus on breeding and raising livestock for meat production, with an emphasis on implementing best practices to achieve optimal results in terms of both quantity and quality.


  • A four-year undergraduate degree in agriculture or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in cattle farming or agricultural management.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
