Job Description
WEST COAST FOS IMPORTS LTD. is seeking dedicated and reliable Light Duty Cleaners to join our team in Victoria, BC. We offer a full-time, permanent position with a competitive hourly wage of $20.00 for a 40-hour workweek. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of various areas, including floors, furniture, carpets, kitchens, bathrooms, and elevators. No prior experience or formal education is required, as on-the-job training will be provided. Successful candidates will be expected to handle tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, and addressing guest requests. Requirements
- Languages: English
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
- Experience: Will train
Responsibilities:
Tasks:
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
- Dust furniture
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
- Make beds and change sheets
- Distribute clean towels and toiletries
- Stock linen closet
- Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
- Clean and disinfect elevators
- Handle and report lost and found items
- Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items
- Provide basic information on facilities
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
